Business Christmas cards are standard practice when it comes to the business world. If you have clients, if you have employees, there should not be a Christmas that goes by where you do not show your appreciation with a card. There is no more personal of a message than one you wrote and signed yourself. There is also no more of a commercial than a card that says your company name that sits right on your client’s desk for a month or two. But there may be something you are overlooking. There is another opportunity to share your message of appreciation.
There is nothing more American than eating turkey on Thanksgiving. The Detroit Lions have just finished up losing to whoever they are playing and the wife is ready for you to carve up the bird. The stuffing has filled up everyone’s nostrils and you cannot wait to see how that turkey injection you did for the first time tastes. Now what is more personal than that? Thanksgiving Cards can be a way to entrench your brand along with this American standard. It will not hurt that for an extra month your company name will be sitting on former, current, and potential client’s desks. So keep sending those Christmas Cards, but do not forget to go the extra mile and celebrate turkey day. Don’t forget the Thanksgiving Cards.
You also beat the Christmas rush by sending Thanksgiving cards. The Gallery has some really beautiful Thanksgiving cards – including the one above.
I never would have thought to send Thanksgiving cards – what a great idea! The holiday season is just starting and what better way to kick it off? And there’s some beautiful cards to choose from – love all those fall colors!
Thanksgiving cards sound like a great idea because most people don’t send them. Rather than being one of many Christmas cards a person receives, a Thanksgiving card would stand out.
Kicking off the Holiday Season with a Thanksgiving card is a great idea. Thanksgiving is the holiday that families love. The focus is food and being thankful. Why not extend that idea to your business associates this year.
Our office does put up Thanksgiving cards we receive first (to kick off the holiday season) so I’d agree if you want your business to get a lot of exposure, go with the Thanksgiving card. It also covers everbody, unlike Christmas cards. Not everybody celebrates Christmas.
I personally have never received a Thanksgiving card! I do think that it is a rather unusual time to send a card when most people think of Christmas for greetings but I think its a great time to stand out by wishing someone a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving Day cards are the best way to tell a company you’re there. Not a lot of companies receive Thanksgiving cards, so yours will be on their mind first and foremost.
Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday. Over the years my office has received more and more Thanksgiving cards from our vendors and somehow their “thank you” seems more sincere that way. I mean I like getting Happy Holidays type cards too, I just find the Thanksgiving ones seem like the sender went the extra mile to thank me. Plus there’s a little less stress at Thanksgiving than at the holidays that follow it, so I have more time to relax and actually read the card.
What a great read! I would have never thought to send out Thanksgiving cards but it makes so much sense! I always considered Thanksgiving the start of the holiday season, why not send out Thanksgiving cards to your fellow employees & clients, it’s a great way to show how greatful and thankful you are for them!
Thanksgiving is a great time to show your appreciation for your family and the people that surround you daily. What a nice way to show that you are greatful for all in your life by sending a Thanksgiving card. I’m started a new tradition this year!
My company gives out free turkeys to all employees every year along with a Thansgiving greeting card. I usually give the turkey to my church and keep the card on my desk where it remains until New Years. This seems to make the Christmas season last longer by starting in November.
I think it’s a great idea to send Thanksgiving cards. People will remember who sent it since it’s not the “norm” … good way to leave an impression and get your name out there.
I’ve been sending out Thanksgiving greeting cards from The Gallery Collection for years now! All my clients and employees love the idea of sending out Thanksgiving cards rather than holiday cards. There’s alot of great new designs for this year, it’s hard to pick just one!
I’ve never received a Thanksgiving card. I’m sure I would be thrilled as the receipent, its a unique idea.
