Yes, I Intend to Send Corporate Christmas Cards

Did you say this is socially unacceptable and politically incorrect? Bah humbug. I know the reason for the Christmas season and will stay with its original purpose. Peace on earth, goodwill to men, a Christmas Eve service at a hometown church with a tranquil nativity scene in front to remind us of what is most important in life. Corporate Christmas cards will be mailed out this year because there is nothing more American.

Exactly what are these seasonal greetings? They are verbs of action representing communications for the purpose of expressing good will. It can be the impetus to a productive conversation or a brief, sweet acknowledgement of an individual’s attendance on this earth. Think about it; even through the mailing of business Christmas cards we shamelessly accost one another with professional friendship, pay our due respects, and express kind wishes. Then through the discovery, reading, and handling of a brightly adorned Christmas card, a private moment in time is created in what could be a dreary, as-usual day. The recipient’s heart is warmed and made glad.

This uncomplicated extension of corporate kindliness is a sign of cultured society where perceived differences can be put aside to bring parties together in mutual regard for each other. Christmas is a national celebration that developed as our nation expanded and matured, and today the celebration still stands.

Company Holiday Cards Can Help Your New Business

Due to the economic downsizing my husband lost his job and went on the unemployment line for a while. He had a passion for food and wanted to start a business with this idea. Having a culinary background in college it seemed like a great idea!  They say do what you love and it won’t feel like you are working.  He had a brainstorm for a small business venture just before the holidays.  We were thinking of different ways to market our new business, we wanted it to be a little personal and reach people in a timely matter.  It would be beneficial to reintroduce ourselves to our community.  While our children were growing up he was very active in coaching sports and volunteering his time, now we were reinventing the wheel. I mentioned to him to send out company holiday cards to our prospective customers. We would be advertising and sending Season’s Greetings at the same time.

Sending corporate Christmas cards is a perfect way to be introduced to our new business associates. We included our company name, telephone number and website information on the bottom of our calendar card.  Potential customers can use them as a reference to remind them we are open for business year round.

Christmas Cards – Adding a Personal Touch

Christmas Cards are a great way to keep in touch with clients, family and friends.  Just a simple wish of peace, prosperity and happiness is all that is needed to let a person know they are in your thoughts.  That is why I always make sure to send cards to everyone in my contact list, both business and personal.

However, this year, I didn’t want to send the same old Christmas card that you buy in a package at a retail store.  I wanted to send people a card that was really from me, not just a generic piece of cardstock.  That is why I sent out personalized holiday cards this year.  Aside from standing out from the rest of cards, it just looks so much nicer!

I decided to get my cards this season from The Gallery Collection.  Aside from having such high quality cards in a wide variety of designs, they gave me the opportunity to add my personalization.  I chose the “Season’s Greetings Red Berries” card because not only was it strikingly beautiful, I was able to add my personalized touch in an elegant gold foil.  When I received my cards, I was really blown away by the look and even the feel of them.  I knew that I was going to make a great impression with the people I sent the cards to.

I sent my personalized Christmas cards last week and have already heard back from several people thanking me and telling me how nice the card was.  I actually have received more feedback this year than ever before, and I attribute a great deal of it to the personalization I put into these cards.  I was very happy with how my holiday cards came out this year and will certainly do the same again next year!

Rose the Card Lady and Assorted Birthday Cards

My name is Rose, “The Card Lady,” and I would like to tell you how my name came to be…

A few years ago I purchased a box of assorted birthday cards from The Gallery Collection. One week after I received them, I threw a surprise anniversary party for my parents at my house. A discussion arose about upcoming birthdays and events, when my sister chimed in and said she forgot her mother in-law’s birthday (it was the very next day!). I went into the house and grabbed the assortment box for her. I quickly had a group of people surrounding me going through the box. They remarked how beautiful the greeting cards were and that they had never seen such cheerful cards in any store. A few of my guests picked out cards that were perfect for an upcoming birthday… I was more than happy to let them have the cards.

A week after my party, my neighbor knocked on my door; she had attended my party last week and remembered I had a boxed birthday cards assortment. She asked if she could have one for a party she had the very next day. So, that is how it began, and till this day, I still have people stopping by for thank you cards, birthday cards, and get well cards. My only dilemma is I’m running out of cards…I have to drop subtle hints on how my guests can get their own boxes.

So now my friends introduce me as Rose, the Card Lady.

The Perfect Corporate Holiday Cards

The corporate holiday cards I send every year are not only my way of wishing greetings for the holidays, but they are also my way of connecting with people I have not had contact with for a while. At least I know once a year we can catch up with each other’s lives and bring back some good memories.

The holiday cards I pick out have to be a reflection of my thoughts and feelings. This requires me to spend countless hours reading countless cards to make sure I find the right design that expresses exactly what I. This became an impossible task over the years!

However, I finally realized that in order to be able to address all the different holidays of the season and also be able to say the “right” words, I needed to order custom holiday cards.

The cards had to be beautiful and I needed them personalized with my name along with a special greeting. The array of greeting card designs offered by The Gallery Collection is incredible, and the designs are all distinctively beautiful. There is such a great selection of greetings that I didn’t even need to create my own. And the quality of the cards and envelopes is very impressive, to say the least.

So now I can send company holiday cards that are impressive and says exactly what I want.

Corporate Greeting Cards Make You Memorable

Technology has led to a very impersonal connection we have with one another.  Email, texting, facebook, twitter, even if you want to “hangout” these days it means you sit on your computer.  I guess at least then you can see another person.  The point is our world has changed from face to face, to on the phone, to “Did you get my text?” Because of this corporate greeting cards are becoming a lost art.  People don’t want to take the time and consideration to write out a personal greeting when they can save three minutes and send a text.  I think this is a huge mistake.

Think back to your last birthday.  I’m sure 20 people you don’t ever see said Happy Birthday on your facebook wall or sent you a meaningless text.  But how many of you can say you received an actual card?  My guess is not too many.  However, I bet those of you lucky enough to receive a card can tell me exactly who it was from.  This is why you should send business greeting cards.  It makes people remember you, it shows people you care, and it puts a personal touch in an otherwise impersonal world.

Do Get Well Cards Work?

Sometimes we often forget that it is the simple things that make us smile and make our days brighter.   I am a manager for over 200 customer service representatives and with 200 of them, it is very hard to reach out to each and every one of them to let them know that I and the company cares about them.  One simple gesture that I found is really appreciated is to send out get well cards to employees who have to be out due to illness for more than 3 days.  The last time I did this, one of the employees was sick with the flu which nearly turned into pneumonia.  Before I started the practice of sending out get well cards, I would simply note the absence in our attendance book.  Literally, that was the only thing I did to mark an employee’s illness.  Then, when I was out sick for a week (with the flu as well), I received business get well cards signed by all my employees.  That one gesture really brightened my day and I suspect, started me down the road toward recovery.

Because the card made me feel a whole lot better, I decided that thereon in, I would send out my own cards to sick employees.    Getting back to the employee who almost had pneumonia…when she returned to work, the first place she stopped was my office to say thank you for the card.  She was so appreciative of a little thing like a get well card.  I really feel that cards are an excellent way to let employees know you care about them.  It is a small gesture that speaks volumes – I suspect that these small gestures play a part in raising morale, retaining loyalty and might even inch someone closer to recovery.  I definitely recommend sending out cards to ailing employees!

The Importance of Sending the Right Company Christmas Cards

Before I started working for the Gallery Collection I never gave any thought to company Christmas cards. When I worked for other companies it was someone else’s job to choose the holiday card.  Now that I am in the midst of the corporate Christmas card world I realize that the card that is chosen will represent the company that is sending it.  Therefore, choosing the card that is just right is crucial because the card has to speak volumes about a company’s self-worth.  Sending an elegant, tasteful holiday card is as important as your customer service department; each characterize your business the way you want to be seen.

The Gallery Collection is all about the creating cards appropriate for business use. This company understands the importance of sending a distinctive card made with the highest quality paper, ink and foil; there is no detail too small to be addressed when the cards are designed.  I think of company holiday cards as thank you cards to all of the people who helped support a business throughout the year. Company holiday cards can enhance a business relationship and remind old customers that you are still in business and thinking of them.  When choosing a corporate holiday card remember that even though it is the Christmas holiday, not everyone celebrates. The Gallery Collection has a wide selection of Season’s Greetings and Happy Holiday your only problem will be that you may want them all!

No More Searching For Business Birthday Cards

In my previous experiences going to the store, it was an absolute pain when it came to finding business birthday cards for your employees. I would have to dig and search for a long period of time before I found something that was professional and tasteful at the same time. But with The Gallery Collection, all the searching and digging at the stores has stopped. They have one of the largest selections of birthday cards. There are so many different color combinations and designs; I guarantee you will find something you love. The Gallery Collection does a great job in being creative, yet very professional at the same time.

Birthday cards have been made so much easier to look for and buy. You can do so many different types of customizations, it can make you feel like you designed the card totally from scratch. You have the option of choose from one of the many greetings for the inside of the cards, or you may create your own greeting that you would like to use. With so many choices, the hardest part may be deciding on the card itself!

Pet Sympathy Cards – Are They Necessary?

Pets are more than an animal that lives with you. When you accept a pet into your home, you make them a part of your family. The love and care given to a pet is often very much like the way you would treat a child. They become an integral part of your daily life. Suffering the loss of a pet is losing a member of your family. Sympathy cards sent to a friend for the loss of their pet is not only appropriate, it is a sign that you are aware of how much they are suffering.

Pet sympathy cards should carry a message of sympathy, caring and friendship. It is always nice to mention the pet’s name, such as: “I know that Duke was a great companion. Please accept my sympathy.” You should avoid any mention of getting a new pet to replace their loss as they probably will not be ready to think about replacing a loved one that soon.

The loss of a pet is often accompanied by depression and can cause the pet owner a great deal of pain. Once you’ve sent that sympathy card, remember to call or visit and encourage your friend or family member to talk about their loss, memories and love of their pet. You can be sure that all kindness will be gratefully received and remembered.
