Purchasing bulk birthday cards makes all the sense in the world. It is an economical way to have a birthday card at the ready, whenever the occasion arrives. Buying in bulk usually results in the unit price per card being lower. As we know, a good quality card can run up to well over $4.00 each and in some cases more. Add to that the cost to go get them and the aggravation and time taken away from other important things, the savings can be quite high. Not to mention the irritation when you discover that you do not have birthday cards at your disposal when you need them.
Whether you send to your employees or your customers, it will be appreciated. Who doesn’t love to receive an acknowledgement on their special day? It’s a small token, but an extremely important one.
If you are concerned that all of the birthday cards will be the same, I would recommend that you consider purchasing at least two designs. There are so many birthday designs to choose from that it will be easy to find a design for both the ladies and the gents on your list. The hardest part will be choosing among all the beautiful designs available.
At the office I work in it’s a big deal to acknowledge one’s bithday and since there seems to be 2 to 3 birthdays every month it’s more economical to purchase cards in bulk to have on hand rather than run out to the store every month. another great suggestion to keep in mind when buying in bulk is to purchase 2 different types of designs one that appeals to females and one for males makes so much sense, thanks for the tip.
Whenever I buy cards or stationery in bulk, I never end up using them all. I either get sick of the design, or don’t feel like the design is right for a particular recipient. So while you do save money on the price per card, in the end, the cards that you don’t use (if you’re like me) just sit in storage, so you end up not saving as much as you think! However, I still think bulk cards are good to have around, just to have an emergency stash when you don’t feel like running to the store or spending too much time picking the right one out.
Going to the store to buy cards on an individual basis is something I don’t ever want to go back to. The price and the time it takes make it more hassle than pleasant gesture. Buying in bulk is definitely the way to go. Personally I’m a fan of the assortment boxes; they offer a few different designs and still work out to less than $2 per card!
Business birthday cards or even personal business cards are one of the most thoughtful presents a person can receive. Anyone feels special knowing you took the time to pick out a card and personalize it in some way.
I agree with Georgia that the buying in bulk thing doesn’t add up to the savings I want, because I get sick of the same design too and always have extras from the package that don’t end up getting used. But if it’s a bulk assortment, that solves the problem because I’m never staring at the same card for too long before I’ve had it with it :-). And with a bulk assortment, I haven’t given the same dang card to a whole bunch of people who end up figuring THAT out (embarrassing).
Birthday cards show employees they are thought of. It boosts morale and makes a person feel special.
When an employee or client’s birthday is coming up, I always stock up on birthday cards. I’ve gotten so many compliments by sending out birthday cards. It’s very thoughtful and meaningful to show someone you know that your thinking of them on their birthday!
I like having two different designs on hand for the Birthday celebrations at my office. I find it nice to have a different card for women and one more masculine for the guys. Sometimes I mix it up but it is nice to have a choice.
You can’t go wrong in sending someone a birthday card whether it be within your business or personal life. It’s a nice feeling to be acknowledged… especially in the work place. A happy employee is likely to perform their duties more efficiently… its a win win situation.
Every time I order from The Gallery Collection, I usually order in bulk because it’s always nice to have the birthday greeting cards available whenever I need them!
I think ordering in bulk is the way to go. I hate having to get one card at a time.
