I love autumn and the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s my favorite time of the year, the crisp air and the colorful turning of the leaves, the pumpkins and gourds – all so bright. What better way for us to celebrate this time of the year then by sending out a beautiful card to commemorate this All-American holiday! It was hard, but I have selected 5 of my favorite Thanksgiving cards that I feel best represent this time of year.
Harvest Bounty Thanksgiving Card (576CW) – This card truly incorporates all that is Thanksgiving with the earth tones of the gourds & pumpkin of orange, green, gold and cream.
Shimmering Autumn Splendor Holiday Card (712CW) – A tranquil country road scattered with beautiful autumn leaves that crackle under your feet when you walk on them.
Thanksgiving Day Card (76KCX) – A Thanksgiving cornucopia overflowing with fruit and gourds nestled on a bed of colorful autumn leaves and flowers.
Thanksgiving Glow Greeting Card (577CW) – Imagine sitting under an autumn tree in the middle of a meadow surrounded by the quiet of beautiful colors.
Thanksgiving Golden Snowscape Holiday Card (018CW) – The early morning tranquility as the sun rises and reflects it warm autumn glow on the snow covered banks of the lake.
I requested a sample of Shimmering Autumn Splendor Holiday Card (712CW) and it looks even nicer than the web image; the brown is so deep and the gold text goes perfectly with it. I send Thanksgiving cards instead of Christmas cards for my business because I think people remember them more and most likely the first holiday card to arrive.
I think this is such a great idea, not to mention the cards are beautiful!
Since I am Canadian and American I celebrate 2 Thanksgiving’s – the cards at the Gallery are so wonderful I want them to come out with an assortment box for Thanksgiving so I can have them in September, but I might have to order one kind for both. They are so pretty and I love the fall too – my birthday and Thanksgiving are in the same week and I just love this time of year.
That’s a great pic of a cornucopia on The Thanksgiving Day card. This time of year is so beautiful here in the north. The changing of the leaves and the cooler weather all evoke fond memories of Thanksgivings past.
