Cards Made Specifically For Your Business

If it never came to your attention, the Gallery Collection offers industry specific holiday cards. There are quite a few industry categories available. There are construction, dental, doctor/healthcare, financial, legal, real estate, and trucking to name a few.

Sometimes, it is hard to choose from the regular holiday cards because they are all so beautiful, but in my opinion, having the industry specific cards should make choosing quite easier for those whose industry is available. This way, you and your customers can truly relate to your holiday cards.

The industry specific cards has designs with items that are used within the specific industry. These designs are extremely creative designs. For example, there is a holiday card for the construction industry that has a Christmas tree made of construction tools, and there is also a construction industry card with a Christmas sock filled with construction tools. There is a dental industry card with Christmas lights made of teeth, and there is also a dental industry card with snowmen smiling brightly with bright white teeth.

If you are interested in the industry specific holiday cards, be sure to check out those categories under the Christmas & Holiday cards section of the site. Have fun selecting your card!

Benefits of Sending Holiday Cards to Customers

It has become very easy to send Christmas cards with the invention of something called recipient addressing.  The card company we have been using for the past few years has this option as a new offering and made it very easy to do.  We upload our mailing list using a special document type they send us in Excel and they take care of the rest! We already have all the patients listed in alphabetical order for our files and billing purposes.

We pick the holiday card and the greeting we feel is appropriate for our customers.  Then we have a few lines for the name of the dental practice as well as the names of the dentists and office staff.   We pick the color ink, or a special foil to have it printed inside the card.  Then the envelopes are printed with our return address on the back and the patients name and address on the front! It is amazing!  No work there!  All of our patients have commented when they come in for an appointment about our great Christmas cards, how beautiful and unique they are.

We tell others in the field about one of the benefits of sending holiday cards to your customers is they remember to call you to comment on the greeting card and then remember they also need to come for a visit as well.  Tackled two birds with one stone…so to speak!

The Lost Art of Thank You Cards

Recognizing good deeds or generous gifts is just common courtesy; however, it seems that most people of today do not make acknowledgements of “Thank You”.
When I was growing up, my mother would always make sure we sent Thank You cards for birthday gifts, Christmas presents and any other generous offering we received. Of course, my brother and I would whine and complain because we would have to handwrite each card, but it taught us to show appreciation for all that we are given.

I would send Thank You cards out for my children when they were little but now it’s their turn. Naturally, their response is “Can’t I just send a text?” My response is to ask them how it feels when they get a card a mail. That seems to be enough of an explanation. We all get that warm and fuzzy feeling when there is a surprise in the mailbox even if it’s as simple as a card.

Doing the right thing in your personal life will carry through to your professional life. When business associates stop in with donuts or my boss brings us lunch, I always make sure to send a Thank You card. The first time I did this my boss was so surprised that I would do such a thing.

Don’t fall victim to the lost art of Thank You Cards.

A Corporate Game-Changer: Thanksgiving Cards

Thanksgiving cards are often over looked by businesses and this is a mistake. Oftentimes companies focus all of their efforts on Holiday cards each year, but why not try a new approach? Thanksgiving cards can be a fresh way to engage your clients, business contacts, and vendors.

Thanksgiving cards are a great way to send your company’s thanks and show gratitude. Since it’s before the holiday rush, and near Black Friday, this is a great time to send coupons or promotions for your products and services. Use a corporate-appropriate Thanksgiving card to send out special offers to certain clients or to advertise upcoming sales or releases.

Sending Thanksgiving cards is also perfect because of the timing. It is a great time to send a card seeing as your recipients won’t have over-flowing mailboxes yet. Your thoughtful card will stand out for sure and won’t be as likely to get tossed.

Show your appreciation with a beautiful card like the Harvest Wreath on Door Thanksgiving Card. This card is elegant and also offers you the chance to personalize the front of it with a personal message or company name. If your client displays their card, you’ll be getting a nice bit of advertising as well. Now that’s something to be thankful about!

Writing The Perfect Greeting For Your Holiday Cards

Writing the perfect custom greeting for your holiday cards should not be a difficult task.  Simply write a message expressing what you want to say.  The most important tip I can give you is to be truthful.  The second most important tip is to know your audience.  To play it safe, you could keep your greeting neutral by using “Season’s Greetings” or “Happy Holiday” over “Merry Christmas” – a common practice within a business environment.

It is not necessary to use your company name in the customization, but I always prefer to have my name front and center and then have my employees sign in the imprint area below the greeting. I also like to use keywords such as grateful or thankful to show appreciation for our relationship.

Next, send a message directed towards the holiday season.  There are so many synonyms so I try to mix them up every year.  You can use “sending good cheer” or “wishes of peace and joy.” Another I use often is “wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season.” Then, I like to extend wishes of goodness for the upcoming year.  I’ve used phrases like “happy and successful,” but there are so many different wishes you could extend.  Others include safe, joyful, prosperous and healthy.

Keep it simple and from the heart when writing the perfect custom greeting for your holiday cards.

Say Cheese! Send Photo Christmas Cards This Holiday Season

We’ve all done it. We open our mailbox and receive the customary Holiday cards from friends and family. They get opened and placed on a table amongst several other cards. Placed and forgotten until the Holiday season is over and it’s time to clean up. They are all then shuffled into a garbage bag, or stored in a box, only to never be seen again. We don’t mean to be so insensitive, but unless these cards stand out, they are destined to fall into the “abyss” of forgotten mail. It’s time to make your holiday cards stand out. What better way to do this than with Business Photo Cards this Holiday season. You are able to capture a moment, and share it with the people closest to you. Pictures can be special sentiments, which is why people are more prone to throw out a card versus a picture. Once the Holiday season is over, the picture portion can be cut out and framed. It is received as a card and gift in one!

Switching gears, businesses can also benefit from Photo Greeting Cards.  We’ve all heard the famous saying that states “a picture is worth a thousand words.” This is with reason. Marketing firms have discovered that content with images receive 94% more views than content without relevant images. Don’t just tell your customers, show them. Bring them into your business with a picture that exemplifies your message.  Say “cheese” and send them your customized photo cards.

Card Assortment Boxes Make Things Easy

Have you ever been at a work Christmas party in the past and people you did not think would give you a Christmas card…end up giving you a Christmas card?  How dare those terrible people do something nice that you did not expect!  I have been in that situation before being a veteran of many, many Christmases over the years.  Let me tell you this; I do not have that issue anymore.  I purchased a Holiday Assortment Box  and now I no longer have to fear the niceties of people.

Do not just stop there.  You can get yourself a Birthday Assortment Box as well.  Perfect for the office.  You do not want to give the same card out to people as birthdays come along.  It looks impersonal to do that.  Get a box that has multiple choices so you can vary it up throughout the year.  People will smile and you will smile in the back of your mind knowing that you cared enough to get that person to smile.  There is this thing called karma and you want to be on the right side of it as much as you can.  All in all these are two simple ways to make people happy and to get rid of the extra frustration that could creep up if you do not have cards handy.
