Business Birthday Cards Add A Personal Touch

What use do we have for business birthday cards? In this day and age of immediacy things are done so instantly. We order food and it’s ready in less than three minutes and that includes the time we take to pay for the meal. We write others and no longer does it take a few days to get the folded letter but we have it instantly in front of us with the help of email, sometimes bold and full of color. We text each other to the tune of 30 words or more per minute, and that’s not even words written in full text! What chance do business greeting cards have up against these things that are done at the speed of light?

I say they have a great chance! They have a chance to show that you took time out to care; you took time out to appreciate by purchasing a greeting card and all that is involved with that process. It goes a long way in terms of showing how much you think of someone.

Well of course they are not sent or received instantly, but that is exactly what sets them apart. The time it takes, and the cost to make what you are trying to say…that’s the added personal touch that makes business birthday cards so special.

Now I Know What Corporate Birthday Cards Are Truly For

The first time I received an invoice from our sales and marketing department referring to corporate birthday cards I didn’t understand why we would spend money on something that seemed so frivolous. You see, I work in the accounting department involved with accounts payable and I didn’t know what the company would use a corporate birthday card for. My friend Mary works in sales and I asked her. She explained how very valuable they are because it reminds each customer that we remember them and they are individuals with a special day and that they really matter to our business. She went on to say how sometimes a customer will call without placing any order just to thank the sales representative who thought of them.

When you are selling a product and there is a lot of one on one contact with your customers you really get to know them. These business birthday cards are just the right touch for that purpose. I’m sure we get a few extra calls and even more importantly sales. Recently, I received a birthday card from my insurance company representative and it made me smile, proving that it really does matter.

Business Birthday Cards Are A Big Deal

Birthdays are no big deal around my office. It’s as if we were all hatched from a batch of eggs, like birds and turtles, with no personal birth dates. What’s so difficult about people signing friendly little “from the gang at work” birthday cards? Or how about business birthday cards from the big boss himself?

Does it bother me? Believe me, I’m not looking to advertise my age every year. I’m not looking for a party because my waistline doesn’t need another slice of cake. I’m too old for a bunch of balloons tied to my chair, and I don’t certainly don’t need flowers or more candy. It’s just that I’d like to feel a little special at work for just that one day a year.

Back in college I had a part-time job. The printing machines in the next room were so noisy, everyone in the office had to shout to be heard. “HI, GINNY!” “GOOD MORNING, PETE!” “NICE WEATHER OUT THERE.” There wasn’t much socializing in that place or you’d have a sore throat by the end of the day. Things were better at my first “real” job. No big celebrations for a birthday, no presents, just a few friends sharing cake at the lunch table. This was an old established firm and we weren’t allowed to have any personal items, especially birthday cards, cluttering up our desks.

On my next birthday I’ll really shake things up here. I’ll mail myself half a dozen birthday cards and tack them up on my bulletin board. Maybe I’ll get pizza for everyone. What do you think? Maybe the boss will take the hint and start sending all of us some business birthday cards. Being happy at work is certainly a great motivator to do a great job!

Corporate Birthday Cards with a Clever Surprise

I often noticed how the ladies in my office would show up for work every day with a beverage in hand from a fast food restaurant or coffee chain. They would purchase the largest size and enjoy it throughout the day. There would be conversation about where one could find the best buy and what was available in the neighborhood. Sometimes a new drink would come on the scene and we would compare our taste notes, even exchange coupons for these mini office delights. Here is an inexpensive way to celebrate your employees’ birthdays. Simply purchase corporate birthday cards and include a five dollar gift card for a local coffee store or fast food place. You will be amazed at the positive response.

A business birthday card not only shows that you care and remember; it is a demonstration of your thoughtfulness as a manager, executive, professional or business owner. The execution of this project is quite simple and straightforward. And don’t ask what you can get for five dollars in this economy – quite a lot! A sweet tea, strawberries and crème frappuccino, large decaf, fruit smoothie, or the basic black coffee-to-go will come in at under five dollars with change to spare. Give, and give it a try!

Business Birthday Cards That Made An Impression

Let me tell you what a difference it made to me when I received actual business birthday cards you could feel and touch.  I own a consulting business and we order many marketing promotional items for our clients.  Many sales representatives from promotional companies contact us but I had my steady supplier that we had used for years.  When my sales contact left the company for a change in careers, I stayed with the company but was ultimately not happy with the service I was getting.

I had met with a sales representative from another company approximately a year prior on what must have been my birthday.  Low and behold, 1 year later, I received a beautifully crafted business birthday card from that same sales rep.  I was not only impressed by the thought, but also by the quality of the card.  I immediately got in touch with the rep and placed an order to try their company out.

I am now happily using his company as our primary supplier of promotional material and all because he made such a great impression on me with a high quality and thoughtful birthday cards.

I now make it a point to find out all of my clients’ birthdays and have a box of quality birthday cards at my finger tips ready to send to my clients.  I can’t tell you how many comments I get from them when they receive their card!

Business Birthday Cards – Sometimes They Come with a Surprise Inside!

I think we all know those people who, whenever their birthday comes around, insist they don’t care if anyone remembers or not. They always say they’d rather forget their birthday when they hit a certain age. Well, I’m not one of them. I love getting birthday cards – and business birthday cards are some of the best.

I don’t have a lot of credit cards, but I am a sucker for opening a new one every time my daughter and I are shopping. Some of the new stores offer a nice premium for opening the card and then, of course, you get on their mailing list. Lots of coupons and junk mail come my way, but then so does a birthday card and guess what’s inside it – a coupon, just for me, just because it’s my birthday. These personalized birthday cards, complete with the company name, logo, address, online ordering option – everything to make shopping easy – are always welcome in my house.

It’s amazing how many companies are on the band wagon for sending personalized birthday cards. My mom, a big fan of our local casinos, gets birthday cards from each one of the many places where she has left a deposit over the years. They each include a little “freebie” and by taking advantage of each one of them, an elderly woman is having a great time, and each of the casinos benefits from her visits.

One of our local restaurants even has a birthday club. So on your birthday, you get a personalized birthday card and a coupon for your birthday meal on the house. Of course, people don’t usually dine alone for their birthday, so the restaurant benefits by giving away one free meal, but getting several paid meals as a result of the birthday celebration.

I’m sure from the sender’s point of view, it’s a smart business decision to make sure your company’s name pops up in the customer or client’s mind, but it’s also a nice surprise from the receiver’s point of view for them to know someone remembered their special day. If you ask me, that makes sending personalized birthday cards a “win – win” situation.

Design #861AY – Party Hats Galore

Design #861AY, Party Hats Galore Birthday Card, shows a colorful array of party hats, which is no doubt a stunning way to honor someone on their special day. The embossed hats are highlighted on a midnight black card stock that shows off brilliant bursts of rainbow foil colors in purple, fuchsia, orange, bronze, lemon, and lime, and the unique feature about rainbow foil is that every hat color will appear slightly different on each card so it’s as though you’re getting multiple designs with your business birthday cards. Some of the hats are outlined in rich gold foil to add depth, but every party hat is embossed with its own unique gold foil textured trim directly on the hats.

The birthday celebration continues with sprinkles of gold foil confetti, streamers, and stars floating around the hats, adding even more dimension to the front of this birthday card design giving it a fun and festive party theme. The entire design is framed out in a gold foil border and inside the border is where all the party hats and whimsical fun appears. Centered below the hats are the words “Happy Birthday” in gold foil script lettering. The special feature of this card that will make this design appealing as a business birthday card is the die cut window that appears just below the sentiment. This cut out on the card will display your business name in gold foil lettering in grand style, and when the card is opened, your company name is displayed on the black matte finish inside the card below the gold foil birthday greeting of your choice. This elegant business birthday card with its touch of whimsical fun will leave a lasting impression on all for years to come.

When your coworkers receive a business birthday card like this, it will really make them feel special, like part of the group. Everyone deserves to feel that way, especially on their “Big Day.” Birthdays only come once a year, so it’s important to acknowledge them in a special way. Sending this card will make your coworkers feel noticed and appreciated.

If your office is a casual one, or even if its not, and you’ve never sent this type of business birthday card before, maybe now is the time to do it. A greeting card might seem like a little thing, but, as the saying goes, “it’s the little things that matter most.” Add a little lightness to your office atmosphere, build camaraderie, get the cake ready and enjoy the party! You’ll be glad you did.

Business Birthday Cards Keeps Business Moving

What if you could lift up the spirit of clients, contacts, and employees in one fell swoop? Of course, in today’s economy your first question is going to be, “How much is this going to cost?” Naturally, you will have to take that into consideration, but let’s look at the big picture first.

Recognition is a valuable tool in promoting lasting relationships. Acknowledging someone’s birthday by sending them birthday cards is a positive and inexpensive way to show their importance to you. I started to send business birthday cards to clients and employees when I received one from a vendor who had unsuccessfully met with me the week before my birthday, to try his stationery supply company.

He wrote inside the card, “I checked your horoscope for your birthday, and it advised you that things would be stationary in your life for a while. Since stationery is in my life for a while, I thought you might feel a kinship, and try our stationery for your office.” He added a post script, “We offer a special discount for Birthdays!”

The card gave me a chuckle, and reminded me of the terrific salesman who had sent it. While I didn’t order from him immediately, there did come a time when my supplier let me down, and the first vendor I called was my business birthday cards sender. His humor and friendly persistence won me over.

Naturally, every card will not elicit such a success story. The point is that people appreciate thoughtfulness in any form. You never know how one small gesture may keep your business moving along.
