Why Company Logos On Corporate Greeting Cards is a Good Idea

We all know sending corporate greeting cards is a great way to create a good customer relationship and adding your company logo is a smart idea. You spent time creating the perfect logo, you chose the right colors, the right shape, the perfect tag line-what better place to put it than on your holiday cards. When you send holiday cards to your clients, it sets your business apart from others; your logo should work for you. Since holiday cards are welcome you are creating goodwill and not a sales pitch. Your logo is like a small ad for your company and people remember images better than they remember words – I am sure you have heard that a picture is worth a thousand words!

I patronize the companies that care enough about the business I give them to remember to thank me during the holidays; sending Christmas cards is a cost effective way to let your customers know that you appreciate their loyalty. Putting a visual reminder on the inside of the card is a great way to promote your business. You’re sending the cards out anyway, so why not make it work for you?

And remember, it is incredibly important to send the highest quality Corporate Greeting Cards your budget will allow.

Send Your Business Holiday Cards As Soon As You Can

The first time my employer sent out Holiday cards was 3 years ago. He was just starting out, the business had only been operating for about 4 months when I was hired. One day in early November we received an envelope which came to us from someone the owner had come into business contact with recently. It was a holiday card. Once he looked at it he got very excited and said “We’ve got to do this too!”

I called the company we got the card from and was given many options. Personalizing the card was more intense than I imagined. I never knew there were so many different types of holiday cards or realized how much thought can go into sending a business holiday card. I ordered a catalog and some samples to be mailed to us. We received the mailing and he decided what he wanted.

In the meantime he also contacted that business associate who sent us the first holiday card. He asked him some questions about how this helped his business. He then explained why you should send your business holiday cards as soon as you can. He was in business over a dozen years and in his opinion you get more visual advertising time for your money the longer these unique, beautifully personalized cards are on display in your customer’s office.

With all the chaos at holiday time, he decided to do it as soon as possible. It was very interesting when we got our first holiday card and we displayed it in a very visible area. Being the first one to send the cards out can help to start an opening dialogue point with some of your newest clients.

Holiday Cards for the Millennials

millennials-1

Millennials were raised, for the most part, fully immersed in technology. This is why people commonly assume they would be disinterested in holiday cards; people think, “they grew up in this fast-paced environment, where everything gets to them immediately. Texts, emails; everything they send or receive is delivered in mere seconds. So why would they want holiday cards, which are such a dedicated and long process of buying, signing, sending, and then waiting even more to receive?”

But that long process is exactly why millennials would cherish holiday cards.

Millennials might be used to the world of texting and emails, but these things are very impersonal and don’t require much effort. It takes extreme effort and shows a lot of care to go out of your way to buy someone a card, make it out to them with a special, personalized message, and then going through all the effort of sending it early enough for them to receive it on a timely basis. This isn’t something most of their peers will be doing, so if you send a millennial a holiday card, you can be sure they will appreciate it twice as much as everyone else, just because of how rare it is.

In case you would like some ideas, here are some Gallery Collection cards that might really appeal to the beloved millennial in your life:

1. Show off your own technological skills with one of our digitally printed cards which allow you to even customize the front of your cards – Ribbon Tree Christmas Card

2. Make them laugh with this sweet and silly holiday card, featuring special tips for Santa Claus – Tips for Santa Christmas Card

3. Millennials will definitely be able to relate with this funny card explaining exactly what happiness during the holidays really is – Holiday Happiness Card

4. This card is a bright and vibrant card that is sure to appeal to the millennials who prefer a more contemporary card – Bright City Lights Christmas Card

5. This is another humorous card that millennials will certainly be overjoyed to receive – Dear Santa Christmas Card

Business Holiday Cards from a Catalog

Looking through the piles of greeting card catalogs I receive for the upcoming holiday season I noticed something unusual. Most of the catalogs are featuring the same card; not a similar card but the exact design. Each catalog has a different company name so I thought maybe an artist was selling their designs over and over. Don’t know the answer but I must say it gets boring to see the same thing; I wanted to find a greeting card company that could come up with unique cards that would make my company look different from the rest.

My wish was granted when I received a catalog from the Gallery Collection, there were no knock offs, nothing similar to another company’s look; each design was one of a kind and gorgeous. I want my Business holiday cards to represent us as a business with class and style; choosing the right card can do just that. There is nothing worse than send a flimsy card in a cheap looking envelope. I was very pleased with my Gallery Collection card and the customer service was excellent. I would recommend Gallery Collection to anyone that wants quality with distinctive designs focused on business because they know what they are doing.

Top 5 Animal Holiday Cards

I thoroughly enjoy the Holidays, and picking out just the right holiday card seems to start it all off for me. After looking through this year’s extensive selection, I’ve decided to choose from the group of animal holiday cards. As a true animal lover these cards really represent me well, and I’m sure they’ll make all of my friends and family happy this holiday season! Here are my top 5 animal holiday cards!

Holiday Penguins Card

  • Holiday Penguins (Design 89FCW) – Has an amusing glossy photo of three Emperor Penguins marching to the beat of their own collective drummer. It’s seasonal, humorous and totally delightful. Gold foil printing looks great on the black stock and complements the photo’s gold frame border.
  • Holiday Gathering (Design 78ECW) – They describe this as endearing & it is! Mama & Papa penguin are lovingly watching over their adorable, fluffy chicks. It’s just irresistible. This stock is white so you can print in either ink or foil.
  • Polar Bear Holiday (Design 81GCW) – White on white on white with little black noses. A captivating photo of mama & cubs bordered in gold. I really like the combination of gold printing on black stock. It’s rich and a bit unusual.
  • Holiday in the Park (Design H3ECW) – This is a charmer with a little flock of cheerful red cardinals surrounding a welcoming park bench and an old fashioned lamppost decorated with a holiday wreath. Makes you want to venture out for a nice winter walk.
  • Winter Parade (Design 72ECW) – I like the unexpected and you don’t usually think of wild mustangs when you think of holiday cards! Great action-packed winter scene and a definite stand-out.

Make Your Company Stand Out With Unique Christmas Cards

That time of year is coming around again, when we’re all hustling and bustling for the nicest holiday cards. With so many choices in every store, surely it’s become very difficult to choose which card would be perfect for my business. Every year, I usually buy an assortment box of holiday cards and then handwrite a note to all of my employees. But the company has been growing with each coming year, and so this year I wanted to make my cards unique. I wanted something different that would portray my gratitude towards my employees as well as make my company standout with unique Christmas cards.

Snowman Holiday Greetings Card

Scouting around on the internet one day I came across The Gallery Collection, and I never looked back. They not only have a beautiful assortment of cards, but the inside is also customizable! Meaning, I would no longer need to hand sign all of my cards, but rather sign one and it would be reprinted on all of them. I chose a card with a cute snowman and personalized it with a greeting and my very own signature on the bottom. I even had the option to make my signature glisten in gold foil! The cards came out so beautiful, I already can’t wait to hand them out!

Time for Holiday Cards!

Halloween is almost here and that means one thing; the holidays are just around the corner! When we think of the holiday season there are many things that come to mind: snowmen, getting together with friends and family, the smell pies baking, and of course, holiday cards! Holiday cards help us remind people, especially those we do not see everyday, that we are still thinking of them.

This is precisely why Christmas cards for business have become so popular. Sending cards to clients and customers is the perfect way to remind them how much you value their business. As an administrative assistant, I am usually the point of communication between the company I work for and any services we need, and I always feel appreciated when I receive a holiday card from one of the companies we’ve worked with. Not to mention, they are usually the first ones I remember when I need to use that service again.

Last year, I suggested to my supervisor that we should send out our own business Christmas cards and he loved the idea! Although what he loved even more was how many of our customers mentioned how happy they were to receive them and how it really made them feel like we took a personal interest in their business. I definitely started a new tradition at our company; he’s already having me research the designs for this year’s card!

Christmas Cards – A Tradition That Transcends Time

Christmas cards are, of course, a great way to catch up with friends in a personal way. When I was younger I always meant to send out a year in review, touching base with the people who meant so much to me over the years, but I was always too busy. It’s a sad fact that time goes quickly. Sometimes years pass before you realize you’ve lost touch with a friend, co-worker, or classmate. Which is one reason why simple, personalized Christmas cards can be so touching.

My mother, for instance, wrote a holiday letter and sent out cards for years. On more than a few occasions I remember her actually handing me boxes of blank cards so I could start my own tradition. It took me more than a few years to finally act on it. Once I did, I realized I had more than 75 people I wanted to reach out to with personal wishes for a happy holiday.

The modern world has simplified so many things, for better or worse. Text messages have all but ended catch-up phone calls. Video games have limited the amount of time children interact with each other away from the television. Email has cut deeply into the amount of actual letters we write. These changing times have made receiving a holiday card that much more special. If someone in this busy world takes the time out of their schedule to write you, it means they care.

Holiday cards, for me, have simply become a tradition. I enjoy keeping in touch with my close friends and informing them of what is going on in my life—and hearing from them in return. More than a few of my friends have asked me where I find the beautiful cards I send and have started reciprocating, mailing out their own cards annually. There really is nothing more heart-warming than receiving a card from someone you’ve lost touch with. Cards reconnect you in a uniquely personal way.

Company Christmas Cards and Truffles for our Deli Customers

Christmastime is such a fun time of year for my husband and me.  We own a small deli in our town and even though every day is a good day with our customers, Christmas brings out the best in them.  We purchased cocoa covered truffles and handed them out to our customers during the holiday season.  One of our customers, I will call her “Jodi”, was so touched by this that the next day she came in and handed us a box filled with company Christmas cards.

When we opened them, we couldn’t believe how beautiful these cards were.  The envelopes had a strip on the back flap that you peel off and press down and the envelopes are sealed.  The cards are printed with warm and friendly sentiments.  You could feel the quality of the cards just by holding them, and the designs on the front of the cards were exquisite.

There were other customers in the store at the time and they couldn’t help but notice the cards.  They wanted to know how they could purchase these cards because they loved the way these cards were presented.  “Jodi” suggested that she would ask her employer if she could bring in some of their business cards to display on our counter and we were more than happy to oblige.  Within a week these cards were gone!

A few days before Christmas, one of our customers came in and mentioned that he heard about these wonderful cards that were given to us.  He wanted to know if he could see one of the cards, but unfortunately we had mailed them all.  He was disappointed, but we told him not to worry because he would get the chance to see at least one of the holiday cards when he opens his mail!
