The Magic Of Sending Holiday Cards

Amid the holiday hustle, it’s easy to get swept up in shopping, decorating, and baking. Yet, in all the flurry, let’s remember the simple joy of sending and receiving Holiday cards.

These festive greetings are more than just pieces of paper; they’re tokens of warmth, carriers of good tidings, and little bundles of holiday cheer. A Holiday card brings a personal touch that a text message or email simply can’t replicate. It shows you took a moment to think of someone special, choosing a card that fits them and adding a meaningful message.

Whether it’s a funny anecdote, a cherished memory, or a simple expression of gratitude, the words you write in a Holiday card can brighten someone’s day and strengthen your bond. So, this season, spread a little cheer by sending Holiday cards to those you care about. A small gesture, but one that means so much.

Writing The Perfect Greeting For Your Holiday Cards

Writing the perfect custom greeting for your holiday cards should not be a difficult task.  Simply write a message expressing what you want to say.  The most important tip I can give you is to be truthful.  The second most important tip is to know your audience.  To play it safe, you could keep your greeting neutral by using “Season’s Greetings” or “Happy Holiday” over “Merry Christmas” – a common practice within a business environment.

It is not necessary to use your company name in the customization, but I always prefer to have my name front and center and then have my employees sign in the imprint area below the greeting. I also like to use keywords such as grateful or thankful to show appreciation for our relationship.

Next, send a message directed towards the holiday season.  There are so many synonyms so I try to mix them up every year.  You can use “sending good cheer” or “wishes of peace and joy.” Another I use often is “wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season.” Then, I like to extend wishes of goodness for the upcoming year.  I’ve used phrases like “happy and successful,” but there are so many different wishes you could extend.  Others include safe, joyful, prosperous and healthy.

Keep it simple and from the heart when writing the perfect custom greeting for your holiday cards.

5 Recommended Greetings For Business Holiday Cards

When sending holiday cards for a business, the rules change slightly from when sending personal holiday cards. You might want to be sure you select a holiday card and greeting that reflects a broader range of your clientele. To keep it safe, I would suggest you select a holiday card and greeting wishing everyone Happy Holidays or Season’s Greetings. These greetings will be neutral and inoffensive. In the end, the goal is to extend a heartwarming gesture in the spirit of the season and avoid sending anything divisive.
